Care products and cosmetics should give the skin a fresh, natural appearance and at the same time be well tolerated and safe in use. Nippson PVA PC grades are specially developed for the cosmetics industry and are used for peel off masks, mascara, sunscreen or shampoos. Thanks to their particularly low methanol (MeOH) content below 0,3%, they are particularly environmentally friendly and safe to use. Polyvinyl alcohol is a nonionic water-soluble polymer that is well suited for water based cosmetic and personal care products. Polyvinyl alcohol is a linear and crystalline polymer that is also biodegradable under the right conditions.
